BHAIRAVA

This is the figure of Sattai Nadhar. Lord Bhairava is a deity in Hindu mythology. He is considered as a ferocious manifestation of Lord Shiva related to total destruction. Bhairava is the main deity worshipped by the Aghoris. The exhibit is a two handed Bhairava in standing posture. Lord Bhairava is seen standing on a pedestal with lotus designs. The right hand of the exhibit is in chin mudra and the left hand is holding a gadha. The figure wears a long coat like dress.
