DEVOTEE (SAINT)

This is the image of a human mortal who was noted for his great devotion to the Gods, particularly to Lord Shiva. He is also known as ‘Bhaktha’. In most of temples, Devotees are seen in the outer surface of the shrine. The image here is in anjali pose. Sitting in Padmasana, the Devotee is adorned with a Tulsi garland.
