Vanchi Vilakku is a prized possession among the exhibits of the Museum. The lamp is in the shape of a boat (vanchi in Malayalam means boat) hence the name. The lamp is decorated with the image of a man sitting on a horse on both sides. There are other images standing in anjali pose. The lamp is also ornamented with the design of banyan leaves.
